perhaps the biggest mistake Engineering and CS students make is buying a gaming laptop.

Back then when I started college I got Acer Nitro 5, a powerfiul machinery that runs engineering software, triple A games, Adobe package, and all that stuff. But gaming laptops are not designed to be portable - with a power outlet the shit weights 5+ kg and you carry it everyday to college. At some point you get tired and just decide to never go outside while those mf on macbook chill in starbucks just to send one email.

But those fuckers were right. Macbook is actually nice machine. 99.9% of the time at college you type shit on Google Docs, watch YouTube, and write emails.

That 0.1% of heavy duty work you can do it in the library PC that already has licensed software, or it can be done on cloud. Colleges never require you to have a RTX 4090 on your backpack to pass a class.

Debatable but playing games and managing classes sounds a bit off. Touch some grass, talk with girls and get a life bruh.

Just get a macbook air and chill. Even the lowest spec macbook is 10x better than any Dell XPS, and it will be still cheaper. Even 256 Gb memory is very fine.

So many beautiful places around that beg you to take a picture but I always try to avoid having kids and women in the frame. That’s the ethics of traveling.

В долгосроке, бизнес начнет расширяться по всему городу равномерно, а не накапливаться на Достыке или Сатпаеве, а жилье (мб) станет медленнее дорожать.

It’s crazy but in KAUST I have seen so many people with tattoos, even among Kazakh students here one third has tattoos. I’ve been in many places, and even in Irish pubs I see less tattoos.

Went to wrestling club today with a Dagestani coach. It was horrible. One hour of ass-sweating warm up, 20 min sparing where another Dagestani guy just threw me over and I landed on my копчик, and 10 min stretching at the end.
