Spent 160 USD for those rainbow stickers.
KAIST required me to send an apostille of my diploma and transcript to claim my spot. My job offer in Abu Dhabi was still in question, so I decided to progress with KAIST in meantime.
And it was a hell of a bureaucracy. My diploma was issued in the Emirates, but the UAE is not Hague convention, so they don’t issue apostilles. I had to fly to Abu Dhabi, get a pink sticker from Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), then go to the UAE Embassy in Astana for a blue sticker. After this I went to a notary service for verification and then ЦОН to get it apostillized.
After this I had to go to DHL to get it shipped to KAIST in Daejeon and pay another 170 USD for express delivery. But at this stage, I already got my employment resolved.
